Amivie (formerly Custom Care CBC, LLC), a Morrisville, North Carolina–based home and community-based care provider, has acquired Apex Home Care, LLC, a Minnesota-based in-home care provider. The $4.5 million transaction closed on September 8, 2025; Apex (founded by Mahado and Burhan Ali) will keep its staff and leverage Amivie's national resources to expand services.
