APi Group Corporation entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Onyx-Fire Protection Services Inc., an inspection-first provider of fire and life safety services in Canada, from funds managed by Blackstone Tactical Opportunities. The transaction was expected to close in the second quarter of 2026, subject to customary regulatory approvals, and APi later announced it closed the acquisition on June 8, 2026.
