Dow Agrees to Acquire Circulus, North American Polyethylene Recycler

Dow has signed an agreement to acquire Circulus, a North American polyethylene recycler that operates facilities in Ardmore, Oklahoma and Arab, Alabama, adding 50,000 metric tons per year of recycled material capacity. The acquisition strengthens Dow's mechanical recycling capabilities and supports its goal to produce 3 million metric tons of circular and renewable solutions annually by 2030. The transaction is expected to close in the third quarter of 2024, subject to customary regulatory approvals.
