Ascend Performance Materials Acquires Majority Stake in Circular Polymers

Ascend Performance Materials purchased a majority stake in California-based Circular Polymers, a recycler of post-consumer high-performance polymers. The investment (Circular Polymers renamed Circular Polymers by Ascend) secures a consistent supply of high-quality post-consumer recycled (PCR) materials for Ascend's ReDefyne sustainable polyamides while founder David Bender retains remaining equity and stays on as CEO.
