Ryder System, Inc. acquired Dotcom Distribution, an e‑commerce and omnichannel fulfillment provider that serves high-growth retail brands in health & beauty and fashion. The deal adds a 400,000-square-foot multiclient fulfillment facility in Edison, New Jersey and brings roughly 100 Dotcom employees and its leadership team into Ryder to expand Ryder's e‑fulfillment capabilities and national footprint.

The acquisition expands Ryder's e-commerce and omnichannel fulfillment network (adding 19 warehouses and ~7 million square feet), is expected to be accretive, and aims to integrate Whiplash's technology, operations, and team to accelerate capability and geographic coverage.

Capital, integrating Cardinal’s dedicated contract carriage, freight brokerage and last-mile capabilities to strengthen Ryder’s dedicated transportation and supply chain services. Cardinal, founded in 1997 and headquartered in Concord, North Carolina, operates ~200 locations with a fleet of 2,900 power units and more than 3,400 drivers; Ryder expects synergies and accretion following integration.

Ryder Acquires Impact Fulfillment Services

Ryder System, Inc. entered into a definitive agreement to acquire all outstanding equity of IFS Holdings, LLC (Impact Fulfillment Services), adding contract packaging, contract manufacturing and warehousing capabilities across 15 U.S. operations. The deal is expected to add about $250 million of annual revenue, retain roughly 1,000 IFS employees, and close in early November 2023 subject to customary approvals.

Sun Capital said it will apply its corporate carve-out and operational expertise to drive performance and pursue strategic add-on opportunities to broaden Century's capabilities; terms were not disclosed.
