BC Partners, through its Greece-focused vehicle BC Partners GR Investment LP, signed a definitive agreement to acquire a majority stake in Metropolitan College and AKMI IEK, two leading providers of post-secondary and vocational education in Greece. The founders, Konstantinos and Kalliopi Rodopoulos, remain shareholders and the deal is intended to support growth through digital initiatives, innovative programs and international expansion; the transaction was announced April 3, 2023 and is subject to customary approvals.
