Fintech Acquires iControl Systems USA, LLC Assets

Financial Information Technologies, LLC (Fintech) completed an asset acquisition of iControl Systems USA, LLC (iControl), adding iControl’s alcohol invoice payments and scan-based trading technology to Fintech’s PaymentSource platform. The deal, which closed in December 2023, expands Fintech’s retail product portfolio and broadens PaymentSource capabilities beyond alcohol to additional retail categories.

EQT Private Equity to Acquire Billtrust (BTRS) for $1.7 Billion

EQT Private Equity (EQT X fund) has signed a definitive merger agreement to acquire BTRS Holdings Inc., doing business as Billtrust, in an all-cash transaction valuing Billtrust’s equity at approximately $1.7 billion. Billtrust shareholders will receive $9.50 per share in cash, and the deal is expected to close in Q4 2022 (per the shareholder-meeting announcement) subject to customary closing conditions.

Billtrust Acquires Order2Cash

Billtrust has acquired Netherlands-based Order2Cash, a B2B order-to-cash platform provider, to expand its European footprint and broaden its Business Payments Network (BPN). Order2Cash's enterprise customer base and connections to 70+ B2B and B2G e-invoicing networks will be integrated into Billtrust's SaaS AR automation and payments platform; the Order2Cash team will continue operating from Amsterdam, Joure, Krakow and New York.
