Blackstone and EQT completed the acquisition of Urbaser, a Madrid-based global environmental infrastructure and waste management company, in a transaction valued at approximately $6.6 billion (€5.6 billion). Platinum Equity retained Urbaser's waste management operations in Argentina, which were excluded from the sale.
