BMC Acquires Compuware

BMC, a KKR portfolio company, has acquired Compuware from Thoma Bravo to combine their mainframe operations management and application development toolsets. The deal brings Compuware's Topaz suite and ISPW technology into BMC's portfolio to create an integrated DevOps toolchain for enterprise mainframe environments; financial terms were not disclosed.
