Bunge Global SA Acquires Viterra Limited (via Swiss holding) to Create Premier Global Agribusiness Solutions Company

Bunge agreed to acquire Viterra Limited in a deal announced in June 2023 to create a diversified global agribusiness solutions company. The European Commission approved the acquisition in August 2024 with commitments requiring the sale of certain Viterra operations (including in Hungary and parts of Poland). A later closing announcement states the merger completed successfully, creating the combined organization for food, feed, and fuel.
