Byggfakta Group Acquires NBS from LDC and RIBA

Byggfakta Group, a PE-backed data and software provider to the European construction industry, has agreed to acquire NBS from shareholders LDC and the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA). Headquartered in Newcastle upon Tyne, NBS is a SaaS-native specification and product information platform (NBS Chorus and NBS Source); the deal expands Byggfakta’s geographic and product footprint into the UK. The transaction is subject to customary regulatory approvals and financial terms were not disclosed.
