SLR International Corporation (SLR) has acquired WAP Sustainability, LLC, a Nashville-based sustainability consulting and ESG data solutions firm. The deal brings nearly 100 WAP employees and enhances SLR's sustainability consulting, product‑sustainability and ESG data capabilities to serve building products, packaging, textiles, electronics and consumer goods clients.

IK Partners Acquires Majority Stake in HSL Compliance

IK Partners’ IK Small Cap III fund has agreed to acquire a majority stake in HSL Compliance, a UK environmental testing, inspection, certification and compliance (TICC) business, with the HSL management team reinvesting and LDC taking a minority reinvestment. The deal positions HSL to continue an aggressive buy-and-build strategy to expand services and coverage across the UK and Ireland; financial terms were not disclosed and the transaction is subject to regulatory approvals.

Ares Management to Acquire SLR Consulting from Charterhouse Capital Partners

Charterhouse Capital Partners has agreed to sell SLR Consulting, a global environmental and sustainability consultancy with over 2,300 employees, to a private equity fund managed by Ares Management Corporation. The transaction, implemented via a conditional court-approved scheme, is expected to close by Q4 2022 subject to shareholder and regulatory approvals; Ares said it will support SLR’s next phase of growth in ESG and sustainability services.

Partner One Capital has completed the acquisition of SL Corporation, a San Francisco Bay Area-based provider of real-time middleware monitoring, visualization and diagnostic software best known for its RTView product. Partner One said SL will operate independently within its enterprise software portfolio and that the investment will provide resources to expand SL's market position and product innovation.
