Cinven will acquire a majority stake in Universidad Alfonso X el Sabio Group (UAX), Spain’s private higher education platform, from CVC Funds. The deal is in partnership with founder Jesús Núñez and Mubadala Investment Company, with Núñez and management reinvesting alongside Cinven and the transaction subject to regulatory approvals.
