Industrial Refrigeration Pros (IR Pros), backed by Sawmill Capital, acquired Prairie HVAC/R to establish its first Canadian operating company and enter Canada. The partnership combines IR Pros’ engineering, controls, compliance, and cold-envelope capabilities with Prairie HVAC/R’s Winnipeg-area manufacturing base and cold-climate expertise; the companies plan to triple manufacturing capacity and add 20–30 employees over the next couple of years.
