Concentric Equity Partners has acquired Straight Flush Rentals, a Calgary-based provider of portable sanitation, septic, and temporary fencing services. The purchase expands Concentric’s waste management platform, Collective Waste Solutions, backed since 2025 alongside MWM Environmental, and strengthens its Calgary footprint through an add-on strategy.

GFL Environmental Acquires Frontier Waste Solutions

GFL Environmental has closed its acquisition of Frontier Waste Solutions, a vertically integrated solid waste business operating across 24 Texas sites. The deal is aimed at densifying GFL’s presence in the “Texas Triangle,” adding more than 650 vehicles and nearly 1,000 employees (Frontier shareholders rolled about $100 million of proceeds into GFL shares).

Macquarie Asset Management Recapitalizes Coastal Waste & Recycling

A fund managed by Macquarie Asset Management has completed the recapitalization of Coastal Waste & Recycling and become the company's majority owner. Coastal, a vertically integrated solid waste and recycling operator headquartered in Boca Raton, Florida, will continue to be led by CEO Brendon Pantano while prior investors Summer Street Capital Partners and Concentric Equity Partners exit and retain a minority stake alongside management.

Blue Sage Capital, in partnership with Trailcreek Capital Group and industry veteran John Gustafson, formed Frontier Waste Holdings and announced initial acquisitions of Access Disposal Services and K2 Waste Solutions to create a Texas-based municipal solid waste platform headquartered in Dallas. Frontier will operate municipal, residential, commercial and industrial waste services in the region and is pursuing further add-on acquisitions across Texas.
