Payment Asia Group’s Canadian business, AlphaPay, completed the strategic acquisition and integration of Motion Pay, a Canada-based payment service provider. The deal is accompanied by Payment Asia Group’s newly obtained Canadian Money Services Business (MSB) licence, strengthening its compliance and cross-border payment capabilities in North America.

TPG and Corpay Complete Take-Private Acquisition of AvidXchange

TPG and Corpay completed the take-private acquisition of AvidXchange at $10.00 per share, valuing the company at approximately $2.2 billion. TPG acquired a majority interest through TPG Capital, while Corpay invested about $550 million for a 34% equity stake with an option to buy the remainder.

The acquisition expands Corpay's B2B payments and AP automation capabilities across education, healthcare, hospitality, and manufacturing end markets; the deal is expected to close in Q2 2024 subject to regulatory approvals.

Hub International Acquires Alpha Pension Group, Inc.
