Cover Genius Acquires Friendsurance to Scale Embedded Protection in Europe

Cover Genius, the embedded protection infrastructure provider, announced its acquisition of Friendsurance, a Berlin-based insurtech and digital bancassurance platform for banks and insurers. The deal combines Cover Genius’s global embedded protection infrastructure with Friendsurance’s local regulatory expertise and bank-grade technology to accelerate “Bancassurance 2.0” across the DACH region. Financial terms were not disclosed, and the acquisition is effective immediately.
