Clayton, Dubilier & Rice (CD&R) and CVC announced that funds managed by CVC have agreed to acquire a significant ownership position in Epicor, a global industry-specific enterprise software and ERP SaaS provider. The transaction gives CD&R and CVC equal board representation, with Steve Murphy continuing as CEO and Jeff Hawn remaining Chairman.
