The deal combines Arbiter with BigTeams and rSchoolToday to support thousands of schools and millions of users, creating a combined organization of over 150 U.S.-based employees.

Accel‑KKR Acquires Majority Stake in Arbiter

Accel‑KKR has acquired a majority stake in Arbiter, a Sandy, Utah‑based provider of athletic and school operations management software. Serent Capital, which partnered with Arbiter in 2017, will retain a minority equity position; the investment is intended to accelerate product innovation, expanded services, and scale across the K‑12 and youth sports market.

ArbiterSports Acquires FamilyID

ArbiterSports, a Serent Capital portfolio company, has acquired Boston-based FamilyID, the market leader in online registration for schools and community programs. The acquisition expands ArbiterSports' product suite to include FamilyID's registration and payments capabilities (millions of registrations to date); financial terms were not disclosed and FamilyID founder Rochelle Nemrow will join ArbiterSports leadership.

Raptor Technologies Acquires PayK12

The acquisition will integrate SchoolNow's ADA-compliant websites, mobile apps and multi-channel communications into SchoolStatus' platform to expand its family-engagement and communications capabilities.
