Japan-based Terra Drone has invested in Aloft Technologies, becoming Aloft's largest shareholder and making the company an affiliate. The deal gives Terra Drone a foothold in the U.S. market and aims to accelerate global UTM (Unmanned Traffic Management) development by combining Aloft's FAA-approved LAANC and fleet-management platform with Terra Drone's AAM capabilities.

The deal strengthens MazeMap's capabilities for utilization analytics and hybrid workplace scenarios and expands its footprint in higher education, healthcare and large enterprise built environments.

Intelinair Acquires Aker Technologies

Intelinair, an Indianapolis-based provider of aerial imagery and analytics (AGMRI), has acquired Aker Technologies, a digital agronomy and drone-imagery company based in Effingham, Illinois. The deal expands Intelinair’s drone capabilities and product offerings, enhancing its AGMRI platform and operational capacity to better serve farmers and ag retailers; terms were not disclosed.
