Terra Drone Invests in Aloft Technologies

Japan-based Terra Drone has invested in Aloft Technologies, becoming Aloft's largest shareholder and making the company an affiliate. The deal gives Terra Drone a foothold in the U.S. market and aims to accelerate global UTM (Unmanned Traffic Management) development by combining Aloft's FAA-approved LAANC and fleet-management platform with Terra Drone's AAM capabilities.

Versaterm Acquires DroneSense

Versaterm, a global public safety software provider, has acquired DroneSense, a drone operations software company that enables public safety agencies to run Drone as First Responder (DFR) programs. The acquisition integrates DroneSense’s hardware‑agnostic drone management platform into Versaterm’s CAD and incident command systems to expand operational capabilities, improve situational awareness and accelerate drone deployment within emergency response workflows.

Versa Integrity Group Acquires Avion Solutions' Commercial UAS Operations

Versa Integrity Group, a Dorilton Capital-backed industrial inspection services platform, has acquired the commercial Unmanned Aircraft Systems operations ("Avion Commercial") of Avion Solutions. Avion Commercial — based in Huntsville, Alabama — provides drone imagery, inspection, data collection, and training services; Avion Solutions will retain its government services business. The deal expands Versa's non-destructive testing and inspection capabilities by adding unmanned aerial inspection services.

Woolpert Acquires Teren's LiDAR Operations and Terevue Platform

Woolpert has acquired the lidar operations of Teren and will integrate Teren's analytics and Terevue SaaS platform into its geospatial offerings to better serve energy, utilities, transportation and renewable customers. Teren will remain an independent company while Woolpert also hired Teren's Chief Commercial Officer and Head of Energy Operations, Sam Acheson, to support energy clients.

BlueHalo Acquires Verus Technology Group

BlueHalo, an Arlington Capital Partners portfolio company, has acquired Verus Technology Group, a developer of RF- and DSP-based counter‑UAS (c‑UAS) systems including the SkyView product line. The acquisition is a strategic add-on to BlueHalo’s existing c‑UAS, directed energy, and perimeter security capabilities to expand its RF detection, identification, and tracking offerings for DoD, intelligence, commercial, and international customers.

Astronics Corporation Acquires Envoy Aerospace

Astronics Corporation has acquired Envoy Aerospace for approximately $8 million, adding Envoy's FAA Organization Designation Authorization (ODA) capabilities and a team of nine employees. The acquisition strengthens Astronics' certification and modification capabilities—streamlining FAA STC and PMA approvals to support its aircraft connectivity, in-seat power, and cabin modification offerings.
