AMSOIL Inc. Acquires Benz Oil

AMSOIL Inc., a family-owned synthetic lubricant manufacturer based in Superior, Wisconsin, has acquired Milwaukee-based Benz Oil, a 125-year-old maker and supplier of industrial and metalworking fluids. Benz Oil will be integrated into AMSOIL's Industrial business unit to expand product capabilities and add cutting, grinding, process and specialty fluids to AMSOIL's portfolio.

Kodiak Acquires Aztech Lubricants

Kodiak, a specialty process fluids supplier, has acquired Aztech Lubricants, an Oklahoma-based maker of wire-drawing and powdered chemical products. The acquisition expands Kodiak’s product portfolio into powder-based chemistries and increases its manufacturing and blending capacity to better serve industrial end markets such as aerospace, automotive and agriculture.

Apple Rush Company Acquires Majority Interest in ACS Enterprises and Earth Lube

The Apple Rush Company, Inc., through its wholly owned subsidiary Apple Rush Manufacturing LLC, acquired an 80% interest in Michigan-based ACS Enterprises, LLC and its wholly owned subsidiary Earth Lube LLC. The acquisition provides Apple Rush with plant-based chemical and specialty lubricant manufacturing capabilities — including a copper plating additive and a cannabis mold inhibitor — to expand its plant-based product portfolio and manufacturing footprint.

Lubrication Engineers (Aurora Capital) Acquires SWEPCO from Key Polymer (DalFort)

Lubrication Engineers, a portfolio company of Aurora Capital Partners, has acquired SWEPCO (Southwestern Petroleum Lubricants) from Key Polymer Holdings, an affiliate of DalFort Capital Partners. The transaction is an add-on acquisition intended to expand LE’s specialty grease and lubricants portfolio, including food-grade and industrial formulations; financial terms were not disclosed.

PLZ Aeroscience Acquires Champion Brands

PLZ Aeroscience Corporation, a Pritzker Private Capital-backed specialty aerosol and liquid products manufacturer, acquired Champion Brands, LLC, a long-standing maker of specialty lubricants headquartered in Clinton, Missouri. The deal expands PLZ's automotive and industrial product capabilities by adding Champion's ~300-product portfolio and a 450,000 sq. ft. manufacturing facility; financial terms were not disclosed.

Lee Aerospace Acquires Llamas Plastics, Inc.

The deal, facilitated by Keystone Business Advisors, gives Lee Aerospace direct entry into the military aerospace transparency market, diversifies its product line and increases production capacity.
