Vista Equity Partners Acquires Duck Creek Technologies

Vista Equity Partners has completed its all-cash acquisition of Duck Creek Technologies for $19.00 per share, valuing the company at approximately $2.6 billion. The deal takes Duck Creek private and pairs its cloud-based P&C insurance software platform with Vista’s enterprise software-focused investment platform to accelerate product and cloud adoption among insurance carriers.

The capital will fund product development and international expansion of Duck Creek OnDemand and enable the company to repurchase equity from certain existing investors; J.P. Morgan served as sole placement agent.
