ID Logistics Acquires GVT Transport & Logistics (Benelux)

ID Logistics has completed the acquisition of 100% of GVT Transport & Logistics, the transport and logistics division of GVT Group of Logistics, strengthening its Benelux footprint. GVT operates 12 sites (headquartered in Tilburg, Netherlands), employs more than 750 people, rents ~200,000 m² of warehouses and runs a fleet of 285 trucks, serving mainly international electronics and non-food retail customers.

Siemens Advanta Acquires Vendigital from Livingbridge

Siemens Advanta has acquired Vendigital, a UK-based data-led cost transformation and management consultancy, from private equity firm Livingbridge. The deal brings Vendigital's supply-chain, procurement and cost-transformation capabilities into Siemens Advanta to strengthen its operations and digital consulting services in the UK and internationally.

Swissport International AG Acquires ViaEurope

Swissport International AG has signed an agreement to acquire ViaEurope, a specialist in end-to-end cross-border e‑commerce handling, to expand Swissport’s e‑commerce and air cargo service offering across aircraft handling, warehousing, customs clearance and last‑mile preparation. ViaEurope operates e‑HUBs at major European airports (including Amsterdam Schiphol and Liège), and the acquisition will broaden Swissport’s capability to serve shippers, cargo airlines and freight forwarders; the transaction is subject to regulatory approvals.

Siemens Healthineers to Acquire Varian Medical Systems

Siemens Healthineers AG has agreed to acquire all shares of Varian Medical Systems, Inc. for USD 177.50 per share, valuing the deal at approximately USD 16.4 billion. The transaction, which aims to create an integrated cancer-care portfolio, is expected to close in H1 2021 subject to Varian shareholder and regulatory approvals.

Lineage Logistics Acquires Van Tuyl Logistics, H&S Coldstores and Frigocare Rotterdam BV

Lineage Logistics has acquired Dutch temperature-controlled logistics providers Van Tuyl Logistics, H&S Coldstores (from H&S Group) and the Rotterdam facilities of Frigocare Rotterdam BV to expand its Benelux footprint and strengthen refrigerated transport and cold‑storage capabilities in the region. The transactions add more than 250,000 cubic metres of capacity across the Netherlands (including ~30,000 pallet spaces at Van Tuyl, 48,000 tonnes capacity from H&S and 15,000 pallet positions at Frigocare) and bring additional transport capacity to Lineage's European operations.

TFI International Acquires Siemens Transportation Group and Hot Line Freight Systems

TFI International announced it has agreed to acquire Siemens Transportation Group (STG) and has completed the acquisition of Hot Line Freight Systems to expand its Less-Than-Truckload (LTL) footprint across Canada and the United States. STG, a family-owned Saskatoon-based LTL operator with roughly C$150 million in annual revenue and 15 terminals, will remain managed by Doug Siemens; Hot Line, a Wisconsin-based specialized LTL provider with nearly 200 employees and 14 terminals, will be managed by Paul Burgmeier under TFI's LTL segment.
