Nvidia Acquires CentML

Nvidia has acquired Toronto-based AI startup CentML, including its technology, employees and customers. Several CentML co-founders and at least 15 engineers have joined Nvidia and CentML will cease operations, with its subscription AI-optimization services being discontinued.

Nvidia Acquires Solver (formerly Laredo Labs)

Nvidia has acquired Solver, a three-year-old AI coding-agent startup (originally Laredo Labs) that builds agents to manage repositories and carry out end-to-end software development tasks. Solver had raised about $8 million (including from Radical Ventures); terms were not disclosed. The deal expands Nvidia’s AI software stack and developer tooling capabilities to complement its hardware and platform offerings.

Centroid Systems, a Troy, Michigan–based cloud and managed services provider, has acquired Intelletive, a Minneapolis-based DevOps and technology consulting firm that also maintains the open-source Kubernetes security platform m9sweeper. The deal enhances Centroid's capabilities in DevSecOps, Kubernetes, AI/ML and full‑stack development and appears to be an add-on acquisition that expands the platform's technology services offering.

NVIDIA has acquired Run:ai, an Israel-based Kubernetes-native workload orchestration software provider that optimizes GPU resources for AI workloads. Nvidia Acquires Synthetic Data Startup Gretel

Nvidia has acquired synthetic data startup Gretel in a nine-figure deal, folding Gretel’s team of roughly 80 employees into Nvidia to integrate its synthetic-data platform into Nvidia’s cloud and generative AI services. The purchase price reportedly exceeds Gretel’s most recent $320 million valuation; Gretel provides a synthetic data platform and APIs used by developers and privacy-sensitive end markets such as healthcare and finance.
