Research Products Corporation (RPC), the parent company of AprilAire, has acquired EWC Controls Inc., a family-owned manufacturer of HVAC zoning controls based in Englishtown, New Jersey. The acquisition expands RPC/AprilAire's product capabilities in zoning solutions for residential (and commercial) indoor air quality markets and aims to better serve customers and employees through complementary product lines.

RapidAir (a Pfingsten portfolio company) has acquired Alpha-Pure Corporation, a Michigan City, Indiana-based distributor of compressed air treatment and condensate management products. The add-on deal expands RapidAir's product portfolio and customer reach across distributors, contractors, automotive and farm & ranch retailers; the transaction closed November 19, 2021.

Madison Air Acquires AcoustiFLO

Madison Air has acquired AcoustiFLO, a Denver‑area manufacturer of high‑performance plenum fans and acoustic fan technology, to add aerodynamic efficiency and acoustic performance capabilities to its Air Handling Group (AHG). AcoustiFLO, founded in 1995 and headquartered in Aurora, Colorado, will report to Madison Air's AHG and its technology will be integrated across portfolio air‑handling platforms including FANWALL offerings.

Saothair Capital Partners Acquires AAI (to be Renamed Air Products and Controls)

Saothair Capital Partners has completed the acquisition of AAI from Halma Holdings Inc.; following the transaction AAI will be renamed Air Products and Controls (APC). Headquartered in Auburn Hills, Michigan, AAI designs and manufactures fire and life-safety detection devices (wireless smoke, heat and CO detectors) sold to residential security OEMs, HVAC and fire-system OEMs, and commercial distributors.

Filtration Group (Madison Industries) Acquires Molecular Products from Arlington Capital Partners

Rensa Filtration Acquires APC Filtration and R.P. Fedder

Fedder (Rochester, New York) and will operate them together with its Custom Filter business to form an expanded high-efficiency air filtration division.
