Wiley Acquires Zyante Inc.

John Wiley & Sons, Inc. announced it has signed an agreement to acquire Zyante Inc., the maker of the zyBooks web-native interactive courseware, for $56 million in cash. The acquisition brings zyBooks' high-impact computing and STEM courseware—used by hundreds of institutions and over 500,000 students—into Wiley's digital learning portfolio to expand its digital education capabilities.
