ITM Communications (backed by Aliter) Acquires Bates IT

Aliter Capital has provided capital from its Aliter Capital II fund to support portfolio company ITM Communications in the acquisition of Bates IT, an Essex-based specialist ICT provider to the UK healthcare sector. Bates IT will join ITM’s group to help build a specialist healthcare practice and expand the platform’s nationwide critical network and managed ICT services footprint; the company’s principal shareholders Barry and Christopher Fuller are working with the group on the transition.

Lumera says the deal strengthens its UK presence and complements its life & pensions technology and data services portfolio.

Skerritts, the Sovereign Capital Partners-backed UK wealth management group, has agreed to acquire Harrogate-based Ellis Bates Financial Advisers, with the transaction completing on 30 September 2024. The deal brings over 3,500 clients and more than £1 billion of AUM to the Skerritts Group (raising group AUM to £3.5 billion) and strengthens Skerritts' presence in the North of England as part of its buy-and-build strategy.
