Oscium has acquired MetaGeek to combine MetaGeek’s Wi‑Fi analysis software (InSSIDer, Wi‑Spy, Chanalyzer) with Oscium’s wireless test hardware. The deal brings MetaGeek co‑founder Brian Tuttle back to lead software development and aims to deliver integrated hardware‑software wireless troubleshooting solutions.

Auvik Acquires Saaslio and Boardgent to Extend Last-Mile Network Management

Auvik, a Waterloo-based provider of cloud network management software, has acquired SaaS discovery vendor Saaslio and remote endpoint management platform Boardgent to expand visibility and troubleshooting across the ‘last mile’ of the modern distributed network. The deals add SaaS application discovery and remote device support capabilities to Auvik’s platform, strengthening its offering for managed service providers (MSPs) and internal IT teams.

AMETEK Acquires Virtek Vision International

AMETEK, Inc. has acquired Virtek Vision International, a Waterloo, Ontario–based developer and manufacturer of laser-based projection and AI-driven inspection systems. The acquisition brings Virtek into AMETEK’s Electronic Instruments Group to complement its Creaform business and broaden automated 3D scanning, projection and inspection capabilities for aerospace, defense and industrial customers.
