Nauticus Robotics Acquires 3D at Depth

Nauticus Robotics (NASDAQ: KITT) agreed to acquire 3D at Depth, a Colorado-based subsea LiDAR and inspection services provider, in an all-stock transaction valuing the deal at approximately $34 million (before adjustments) and assuming about $4.1 million of debt. The acquisition brings 3D's subsea laser LiDAR technology, data services, and patent portfolio to Nauticus, expanding its autonomous underwater capabilities and commercial addressable market in offshore energy and renewables.

Teledyne Acquires Majority Interest in NL Acoustics

Teledyne Technologies has acquired a majority interest in NL Acoustics (Noiseless Acoustics Oy), a Helsinki-based maker of acoustic imaging instruments and predictive maintenance solutions. Founders Kai Saksela and Jonas Nyberg will retain a minority stake and remain in executive roles; financial terms were not disclosed.

Navis (Cargotec) Acquires Cetus Labs (Octopi)

Navis, part of Cargotec, acquired US-based Cetus Labs, Inc., the developer of Octopi — a cloud-based terminal operating system (TOS) for small container and mixed-cargo terminals. The acquisition adds a lightweight, cloud TOS to Navis’s software portfolio to better serve smaller or remote terminals and expand Navis’s addressable market without materially affecting Cargotec’s 2019 financials.
