eBay Acquires Depop From Etsy for Approximately $1.2 Billion in Cash

eBay entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Depop, a mobile-first fashion resale marketplace, from Etsy for approximately $1.2 billion in cash (subject to purchase price adjustments). Etsy later completed the divestiture in July 2026 for approximately $1.4 billion in cash, reflecting the $1.2 billion purchase price plus net purchase price adjustments and interest.

eBay to Acquire Certilogo

eBay has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Certilogo, an AI-powered digital IDs and authentication platform for apparel and fashion goods. The deal is intended to strengthen eBay’s position in the pre-loved fashion (recommerce) category by improving consumer confidence in authenticity and access to reliable product information. Closing is subject to customary regulatory conditions and is expected in the third quarter.

eBay to Acquire TCGplayer for Up to $295 Million
