DARR Westwood (doing business as Westwood Technology Corporation) completed a transaction to acquire a controlling 55.7% interest in Emtec, Inc., creating a combined IT services platform with more than $240 million in revenue. The merger is intended to expand Emtec's presence across North America (adding locations in New Jersey, Virginia and New York) and to accelerate entry into the Federal government vertical where DARR Westwood has a strong footprint.
