GCG Advisory Partners, the parent company of GCG Wealth Management, acquired Gateway Capital Advisors, a St. Louis, Missouri-based wealth management firm managing $400 million in assets. Gateway’s managing partners and team are joining GCG as Operating and Equity Partners, and Gateway will keep its brand and continue day-to-day operations. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Sonic Automotive announced it will expand its Sonic Powersports division by acquiring five new Harley-Davidson dealerships in California, Florida, Georgia, and North Carolina. The acquired stores include San Diego Harley-Davidson, Falcon's Fury Harley-Davidson, Space Coast Harley-Davidson, Treasure Coast Harley-Davidson, and Raging Bull Harley-Davidson.

Smile Brands Inc., a Gryphon Investors–backed dental support organization based in Irvine, California, has partnered with Gateway Dental in Seattle to provide full-service administrative support while the practice continues to operate under its existing brand. Gateway Dental, founded in 1992 and led by Dr. G. Glenn Buchanan and Dr. John Kim, will keep its existing staff of 14 and retain clinical operations while Smile Brands supplies purchasing, payroll, IT, billing, facilities and marketing support.
