Blackford Capital launched a new HVAC, Electrical and Diversified Services (HEDS) platform by merging its December 2025 acquisitions of Habco Partnership and Moro Corporation under the Habco name. Habco, a national full-service electrical contracting firm, and Moro, a construction services and materials business, are being combined to create an integrated provider of HVAC and electrical services.

Ormandy Rycroft Engineering Acquires HRS Hevac Ltd and HeatExchangerSpares.com from Exchanger Industries Ltd

Bradford-based Ormandy Rycroft Engineering, part of Avingtrans PLC, has completed the acquisition of HVAC solutions provider HRS Hevac Ltd and spare-parts supplier HeatExchangerSpares.com from Canadian manufacturer Exchanger Industries Ltd. The deals expand Ormandy's product range and spare-parts capability, allow relocation/integration of Elland staff into Ormandy's Bradford manufacturing site, and strengthen supply-chain control and aftermarket services.

Southern HVAC (Southern Home Services) Acquires Allen's Air Conditioning & Heating

Southern HVAC Corporation (part of Southern Home Services) acquired Allen's Air Conditioning & Heating, expanding the buyer's residential HVAC footprint into the Elizabethtown/Hodgenville area of Kentucky. The acquisition adds a long‑standing local HVAC services business and extends Southern Home Services' multi‑state footprint in residential and light commercial HVAC, plumbing, and electrical services.

Aterian / Craft Work's Rogers Mechanical Acquires Coastal Mechanical Services

Aterian Investment Partners, through its joint venture Craft Work Capital Partners and platform Rogers Mechanical Contractors, partnered with and completed an add-on acquisition of Coastal Mechanical Services, a Melbourne, Florida-based HVAC/mechanical and plumbing contractor. The deal expands the Rogers platform's presence in Florida and adds Coastal's capabilities across healthcare, education and aerospace & defense end markets.

Cairngorm Capital Acquires Fairalls (Builders' Merchants)

Cairngorm Capital Partners has acquired Fairalls (Builders' Merchants) Limited, adding it to its existing building merchant businesses Parkers Building Supplies and Stamco to create the largest independent builders' merchant group in the South East of England. The enlarged group operates 24 branches with over 500 employees and combined revenues of approximately £120 million; Fairalls itself reported c.£15m revenue and about 85 employees and will continue to trade under the Fairalls brand with Richard Fairall remaining involved during the transition.

Roper Technologies Acquires Foundry from Hg for £410 million

Roper Technologies has agreed to acquire Foundry, a London‑headquartered developer of high‑end VFX and 3D design software, from private equity firm Hg for £410 million in cash. Foundry, which employs about 300 people and offers cloud-based rendering and design tools used across film, automotive and apparel sectors, will expand Roper’s portfolio of vertical software businesses.
