Fralock Holdings Acquires Lenthor Engineering

Fralock Holdings, a portfolio company of Arsenal Capital Partners, has acquired Lenthor Engineering, a Milpitas, California manufacturer of flexible and rigid-flex printed circuit boards. The add-on expands Fralock's engineered materials and electronics capabilities, adds about 160 employees and a 63,000 sq. ft. facility, and strengthens exposure to defense & aerospace, medical device, industrial/telecom and semiconductor end markets.

Fralock Holdings Acquires Ceramic Tech, Inc. (including Stratamet Advanced Materials)

(CTI), an end-to-end technical ceramics manufacturer based in Fremont, California; the deal also included Stratamet Advanced Materials (SAM), a high-purity semiconductor-grade ceramic materials maker. The acquisition expands Fralock's capabilities across ceramic formulation, sintering and precision machining, strengthening its position in semiconductor, medical, aerospace and defense end markets.

Fralock Acquires Mapson Engineering

Fralock, a Valencia, California-based engineering and manufacturing company and portfolio company of Arsenal Capital Partners, has acquired Mapson Engineering, a specialty precision-graphics provider based in Orange County, California. The deal is an add-on to Fralock's capabilities that enables continuity for Mapson's customers as founder Jim Mapson transitions toward retirement and expands Fralock's offerings to aerospace, defense and electronics customers.

SigmaTel Acquires Oasis Semiconductor for $82M

SigmaTel Inc. acquired Oasis Semiconductor Inc., a Waltham, Massachusetts-based fabless designer of semiconductor solutions for the multi-function printer market, in a transaction valued at up to $82 million (approximately $57 million in cash up front plus up to $25 million in earn-out). The acquisition gives SigmaTel entry into the printer system controller business and expands its product portfolio beyond digital audio and video chips.
