Aevi Capital and Sage Capital Partners Acquire ATS Scientific Inc.

Ontario-based investment group Aevi Capital, together with Sage Capital Partners, has acquired ATS Scientific Inc., a Canadian distributor and servicer of analytical instrumentation and laboratory equipment. Aevi Capital's principal Aleks Sobot will become CEO while the existing management team remains involved as the company pursues growth and expansion across Canada.

Odyssey Investment Partners portfolio company Applied Technical Services (ATS) completed three add-on acquisitions—Process Instruments LLC, Instrumentation Technical Services LLC, and Accu-Chek—to expand ATS' metrology, calibration and dimensional inspection capabilities across regulated end markets. The deals strengthen ATS' Testing, Inspection and Certification & Compliance (TICC) service lines and expand its footprint in life sciences, food, medical and aerospace markets as part of continued roll-up activity (22 acquisitions since Odyssey's investment).

Odyssey Investment Partners Acquires Applied Technical Services

Odyssey Investment Partners, through a fund it manages, has acquired Applied Technical Services (ATS), a Marietta, Georgia–based provider of testing, inspection, calibration and consulting engineering services. The deal was completed in partnership with ATS President Jim J. Hills and the existing management team, who will retain a significant ownership stake as Odyssey positions ATS as a platform for continued organic growth and strategic add-on acquisitions.

Analytical Technologies Group (ATG) Acquires NTS Laboratory Equipment

Analytical Technologies Group (ATG Service), a portfolio company of Reynolda Equity Partners, has acquired NTS Laboratory Equipment, Inc., an independent provider of service and maintenance for laboratory instruments with specialization in Genevac evaporation equipment. The acquisition expands ATG's US footprint and service capabilities, adding NTS' technical expertise and West Coast presence to ATG's existing service platform for biopharmaceutical, biotech and research customers.

The add-on acquisition expands Forkardt Hardinge’s product portfolio and service capabilities in workholding, coolant management, bar feeders and related machine tool accessories, and marks the platform’s first bolt-on since partnering with Centre Lane Partners in 2024.
