Carlin Consumer Health Acquires Zegerid OTC from Bayer

Hildred Capital, Bourne Partners Strategic Capital and The Emerson Group launched Carlin Consumer Health and acquired the Zegerid OTC brand from Bayer AG to establish a consumer health/OTC platform. The investors plan to invest in marketing, sales and product development to grow the Zegerid brand across U.S. retail channels; financial terms were not disclosed.

GoodRx Acquires vitaCare

(via its subsidiary Kobayashi Healthcare International Inc.) has acquired 100% of Focus Consumer Healthcare, a Chattanooga-based marketer of OTC medicines and dietary supplements. The acquisition gives Kobayashi a foothold in the U.S. supplement market and expands its North American OTC presence by combining Focus's niche brands (GARLIQUE, PAMPRIN, HERPECIN L) with Kobayashi's materials, prescription expertise, and marketing capabilities.

STADA Acquires Biopharma's Pharmaceutical Prescription and Consumer Health Business

The STADA Group agreed to acquire the pharmaceutical prescription and consumer health business of Ukrainian producer Biopharma, including GMP-certified production facilities in Bila Tserkva. The deal integrates Biopharma's pharma operations into STADA's European organization, expands STADA's local production footprint in Ukraine and is subject to Ukrainian merger control; Biopharma's shareholders will retain the company's plasma business.
