PTC (NASDAQ: PTC) has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Arena Solutions, a SaaS product lifecycle management (PLM) platform provider, for $715 million in cash. The acquisition expands PTC’s SaaS product development portfolio—combining Arena’s PLM and quality management capabilities with PTC’s CAD and PLM offerings—to deliver a complete CAD + PLM SaaS solution and accelerate PTC’s leadership in industrial SaaS.

QuantiTech Acquires Systems Engineering Group from Griffon Corporation

Qualus Acquires Phoenix Engineering Services, Inc.

Qualus, LLC, a provider of engineering and technical field services to utilities, acquired Phoenix Engineering Services, Inc., an Atlanta-area engineering and testing firm. The acquisition expands Qualus’s service offerings—adding relay and substation testing, NERC PRC studies, panel building and utility software development—to strengthen capabilities for utility, municipal, commercial and renewable clients.

Ansys Acquires Phoenix Integration, Inc.

Ansys acquired Phoenix Integration, Inc., the developer of the ModelCenter platform for model-based engineering and model-based systems engineering (MBSE), to expand its process-integration and MBSE capabilities. The acquisition, announced May 17, 2021, will broaden Ansys' solution offering by enabling multi-tool workflows and tighter integration between engineering analysis and systems models; financial terms were not disclosed.

ALTEN Acquires QA Consultants
