IonQ entered into a definitive agreement to acquire SkyWater Technology for $1.8 billion in a cash-and-stock transaction, creating a vertically integrated, full-stack quantum platform company. SkyWater will continue operating as a wholly owned subsidiary under the SkyWater name, led by CEO Thomas Sonderman, with IonQ driving its quantum roadmap and domestic, trusted supply chain.

Commercial Energy Specialists Holdings LLC (dba Aquafinity), a Turning Basin Capital and Vigeo Investments-backed platform, has acquired Aquatic Environmental Systems, Inc. (AES), a Tempe, Arizona-based provider of full-service water treatment solutions for commercial and institutional swimming pools in Arizona, New Mexico and west Texas. The add-on deal, which closed June 30, 2023, expands Aquafinity’s geographic presence in the Southwest; terms were not disclosed.

Anaqua Acquires SeeUnity

Anaqua, the Boston-based intellectual property (IP) management software provider, has acquired SeeUnity, a Johnstown, Colorado-based provider of API-based enterprise content integration and migration software. Anaqua will integrate SeeUnity's connector library and migration tools into its AQX and PATTSY WAVE platforms, retain SeeUnity's employees, and expand investment in product, engineering, and client-facing resources.
