Allegion plc, through a subsidiary, has acquired Gatewise Incorporated, a Houston-based provider of cloud-based gate entry and access control software for the U.S. multifamily market. Gatewise CEO Amit Sherman will join Allegion to support integration and growth; terms were not disclosed. The acquisition complements Allegion's Zentra multifamily access solution by adding perimeter access and mobile/cloud capabilities.

Morae Global Corporation Acquires Gimmal

Morae Global Corporation has acquired Gimmal, an end-to-end information governance software platform, integrating Gimmal’s IG SaaS into Morae’s MorAI-driven legal technology and services. The deal, completed under Morae’s PE-backed ownership by Lateral Investment Management, strengthens Morae’s legal-tech capabilities and expands its offering to law firms, corporate legal departments and government clients.

EMCOR Group Acquires ECM Holding Group

EMCOR Group, Inc. has agreed to acquire ECM Holding Group, Inc., a national energy-efficiency specialty services firm headquartered in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, in an all-cash transaction. The acquisition expands EMCOR's energy efficiency and sustainability services capabilities, adding ECM's HVAC, lighting, water, weatherization and airflow management offerings (ECM had estimated 2023 revenues of $60 million).

ConnectWise Acquires Wise-Sync

The acquisition adds full data governance and eDiscovery capabilities to Gimmal's Discover product suite and represents an add-on to Gimmal's platform to expand its information governance offerings.

The deal adds warehouse and space management, legacy physical-records migrations, asset tracking and third-party storage integrations to Gimmal's offering; Madison Park Group advised Gimmal and DecisionPoint advised Infolinx.
