GTCR Acquires Cloudbreak Health from UpHealth

GTCR, a Chicago-based private equity firm, has completed the acquisition of Cloudbreak Health, a Columbus, Ohio–based provider of tech-enabled, healthcare-focused language interpretation services, in a corporate carve-out from UpHealth, Inc. The deal — supported with debt financing from Monroe and Barings and advised by Stifel and Moelis (financial) and Kirkland & Ellis (legal) — aims to accelerate Cloudbreak's product development and technology investments for its Martti VRI interpretation platform.
