GTCR-backed Ascent Sports Group acquired LiveBarn, a Montreal-based youth sports streaming and analytics platform, in a deal reported at roughly $400 million. Ascent plans to deepen LiveBarn’s capabilities in hockey and selectively expand into other youth and amateur sports, with LiveBarn continuing to operate while pending/subject to required approvals that were later completed.
