Proxima Clinical Research, a Houston-based MedTech-focused contract research organization (CRO), has been acquired in a change of ownership led by Billy Howell with close ties to HGI Clinical. Eric Ross was appointed CEO following the transaction; the buyer intends to integrate Proxima with HGI Clinical to create a stronger MedTech/biotech CRO platform.
