Hitachi Solutions America, Ltd. acquired Capax Global, LLC to strengthen its Microsoft Cloud capabilities, adding expertise in cloud-native application development, data platform modernization, machine learning, advanced analytics, IoT and managed services. Capax Global will operate as a wholly owned subsidiary with its leadership and employees integrated into Hitachi Solutions America's North American practice to expand delivery scale across data & AI and Microsoft workloads.

The deal valued GlobalLogic at $8.5 billion of equity ($9.5 billion enterprise value) and expands Hitachi's Lumada digital solutions capabilities by adding GlobalLogic's ~21,000 engineering and design professionals.
