Horace Mann To Acquire Employee Services and Reserve National, Adding Supplemental Insurance and Employee Assistance

Horace Mann Educators Corporation agreed to acquire Employee Services, LLC (ESI) and Reserve National Insurance Company from Medical Mutual of Ohio for a combined net purchase price of approximately $240 million. The deals also include reinsurance of Medical Mutual’s group life and disability business to Horace Mann, expanding employer-focused offerings and distribution reach.
