H.I.G. Capital Acquires DX Group plc

H.I.G. Capital has completed a public-to-private acquisition of DX Group plc (formerly AIM-listed) for an aggregate consideration of £307 million. The acquisition gives H.I.G. control of the UK-based last-mile delivery and logistics provider DX, which operates across the United Kingdom and Ireland and will be supported to accelerate growth across its IDW, 2-Man, logistics and express parcels divisions.

Knight-Swift Transportation Acquires U.S. Xpress Enterprises for ~$808 Million

The deal was expected to close in late Q2 or early Q3 2023, with U.S. Xpress continuing to operate as an independent brand; it ultimately closed July 1, 2023.

The founders and senior executives of both companies retained meaningful equity and continue in leadership roles while Ally Financial provided acquisition financing.
