J.D. Power has acquired the data and predictive analytics business of UK-based We Predict to augment its vehicle quality, dependability and valuation analytics. The acquisition brings We Predict's machine-learning driven warranty and repair-cost forecasting into J.D. Power's global automotive intelligence offerings; We Predict's CEO James Davies will join J.D. Power as vice president of repair analytics and data.
