The investment (with individual investor Bob Carrigan also participating) provides equity capital to advance technology, expand content production and marketing, and build a leading global destination for online music education.

National Fire & Safety Acquires All Pro Fire Protection

National Fire & Safety, a Denver-based fire protection platform backed by Highview Capital, has acquired All Pro Fire Protection, a Littleton, Colorado fire and life safety services provider. The deal strengthens National Fire & Safety's Colorado footprint and service offerings (Retrofit/Tenant Improvement and Service) while founder Dave Lennon will continue to lead the All Pro business from its Colorado headquarters.

Halma plc Acquires FirePro for €150m

Halma plc has acquired FirePro, a Limassol-headquartered designer and manufacturer of condensed aerosol fire suppression systems, for €150 million on a cash- and debt-free basis. FirePro will operate as a standalone company within Halma's Safety sector, broadening Halma's fire-detection and suppression capabilities and giving FirePro access to Halma's global reach and resources.

Performance Systems Integration Acquires FirePro LLC

Performance Systems Integration (PSI), a Portland-based fire and life safety platform, has acquired FirePro LLC, a Bend, Oregon fire protection specialist, as an add-on to expand PSI’s service coverage in Oregon. FirePro will be integrated into PSI’s platform to broaden inspection, maintenance and suppression services for commercial customers in Bend and surrounding areas.

ProProfs Acquires Qualaroo

ProProfs, a provider of SaaS customer support and training tools, has acquired Qualaroo, a survey and in-context user feedback software provider. The deal (announced Feb 29, 2020) brings Qualaroo's Nudge survey technology and customer base (used by sites such as LinkedIn, Zillow, eBay and TripAdvisor) into the ProProfs product suite; Qualaroo was most recently run by Scaleworks.

Pro-ficiency Acquires Fugitive Labs

Pro-ficiency has acquired all life-sciences intellectual property and the associated team of Fugitive Labs, bringing Fugitive's product development capabilities and team (led by Erik Guffrey) into Pro-ficiency's platform. The deal expands Pro-ficiency's product development capacity for clinical-trials simulation and performance-management products and is the company's first acquisition since being funded by NovaQuest Private Equity in 2021.
