Further Global-Led Consortium Acquires Phaidon International from Quilvest

Funds managed by Further Global, supported by investor capital from Neuberger Berman, Pictet and OPTrust, have agreed to acquire Phaidon International from current sponsor Quilvest Capital Partners. The transaction will see Quilvest exit while management retains a significant stake; the investment is intended to fuel Phaidon's global growth and expansion to more than 1,400 staff and 15 offices.

Monotype Acquires Colophon Foundry

ICAPE Group Acquires MON PRINT

ICAPE Holding (ICAPE Group) has acquired 100% of MON PRINT, a Danish supplier of printed circuit board (PCB) solutions founded in 1965. The acquisition (purchase price €0.7 million) expands ICAPE’s presence in Denmark and Northern Europe and will integrate MON PRINT into the ICAPE Group platform to broaden services and geographic proximity to industrial customers.

Inland Acquires Monet Graphics

La Crosse-based packaging and label manufacturer Inland has acquired Monet Graphics, a flexographic printer of primary labels and coupons located in Downingtown, Pennsylvania. Monet operates a 30,000 sq. ft. facility with about 23 employees; Inland says the plant will be added to its existing facilities to maintain and grow Monet’s business and expand Inland’s footprint and capabilities.

Penguin Random House Australia Acquires Text Publishing

Penguin Random House Australia has agreed to acquire Melbourne-based Text Publishing, bringing the 35-year-old independent trade publisher into the Penguin Random House family. Text will retain editorial independence under an agreed charter while PRH will handle ANZ sales and support the publisher’s future growth; the sale follows ownership by Michael Heyward and Penny Hueston in partnership with Maureen and Tony Wheeler.

Monomoy Capital Partners Acquires Mac Papers, Inc.

Monomoy Capital Partners, a private equity firm, has acquired Mac Papers, Inc., Mac Paper Converters, Inc. and All Square Digital Solutions, Inc., a leading regional distributor of paper, packaging, envelopes and wide-format products headquartered in Jacksonville, Florida. Mac Papers operates across the Southeastern United States with approximately $600 million in annual sales and roughly 950 employees; Monomoy said it will partner with management to grow the business and advance strategic and operational initiatives.
