The ICAPE Group has completed the acquisition of 100% of the capital of the Japanese NTW Group. NTW, a distributor of printed circuit boards (PCBs) in Asia, will expand ICAPE's footprint and service offering across the Asian market.

ICAPE Group Acquires LUSODABEL

ICAPE Group has acquired 100% of LUSODABEL, a Portuguese supplier of prototype, pre-series and series printed circuit boards, strengthening ICAPE's presence in the Iberian Peninsula. LUSODABEL — founded in 1996 and reporting 2021 net sales of over €6.1 million and an EBIT of about €1.2 million — will operate as ICAPE Lusodabel with its seven employees supporting ICAPE Ibérica.

ICAPE Group Acquires ALR Services Ltd.

The ICAPE Group has acquired 100% of ALR Services Ltd., a UK-based printed circuit board (PCB) distributor. The acquisition gives ICAPE a direct footprint in the United Kingdom, adds a portfolio of ~300 EMS and OEM customers and expected 2024 revenue of ~£2.5m; the deal was financed in cash and will be consolidated from January 1, 2025.

ICAPE Group Acquires Operating Assets of PCB Solutions, Ustek Incorporated and Nujay Technologies

ICAPE Group has acquired the operating assets of three U.S.-based PCB-trading companies — PCB Solutions, Ustek Incorporated and Nujay Technologies Inc. The asset purchases (100% cash) add over 180 North American customers across medical, automotive and other industrial end markets and will be integrated into ICAPE USA and CIPEM USA to strengthen the Group’s U.S. footprint and local distribution channels.

Phaidon Acquires The Monacelli Press

Phaidon, the global publisher of the creative arts, has acquired The Monacelli Press, a New York–based publisher of illustrated books on architecture, design and the arts. Terms were not disclosed; Monacelli will remain a separate imprint and its staff will relocate to Phaidon's New York office as Phaidon expands its portfolio and category capabilities.

Monomoy Capital Partners Acquires Mac Papers, Inc.

Monomoy Capital Partners, a private equity firm, has acquired Mac Papers, Inc., Mac Paper Converters, Inc. and All Square Digital Solutions, Inc., a leading regional distributor of paper, packaging, envelopes and wide-format products headquartered in Jacksonville, Florida. Mac Papers operates across the Southeastern United States with approximately $600 million in annual sales and roughly 950 employees; Monomoy said it will partner with management to grow the business and advance strategic and operational initiatives.
